OMGosh-THE STAIRS FELL DOWN

JUST KIDDING !!!!!!!!!!

This is a tough room.  I had to get the stairs disconnected to get to the two doors.  While I was taking one stair case down, I thought I might as well take the other one down.
The original construction is excellent on this house--I have learned alot tearing it apart.
Tomorrow I am going to take the molding and wall paper off the very front wall (the wall paper that will peel off, that is).  The wallpaper in this room came off very easily--YEA !!
Next post will be the first of next week--Happy Weekend !!!

Moving Right Along

The first room has all it's molding off, cleaned and in the baggies.  The wall paper just fell off the walls.  There is just a little bit to clean off.

This is the second room-I think this room is suppose to be the dining room.  The base molding was heck to get off-my hands hurt....and the wallpaper did not come off very easily.  No problem--next thing to do: get off the wall paper that is left.  This job is going rather well--I am on schedule.  The next room to work on has 5 windows and 2 doors...and is a BIG room.  I am going to push myself on this room and get it done quickly.  The electrical tape was done really well-excited about fixing it--long way down the road.

Here We Go !!!!!!!

I have taken on the job of refurbishing this RGT Bostonian.  I am really excited and started on it tonight.  It is going really well.  It is a beautiful dh.











I am taking all the molding off the doors and windows-starting on the bottom left side room (the kitchen).  Here I am scraping off the glue from the back of the molding.  I am marking all the molding with post-its and putting it in separate Baggies, so they won't get mixed up.

Here is the left wall with no wallpaper.  There is a small obstacle in the front corners-there is a 1/8th square piece in the corner.  I would rip it out, but the tape wiring goes around it-as Tim says, I will "make it work".  Will be back to work tomorrow-can't wait !!!!
